A Biofuel Flip For Future's Sake

The motive behind introducing biofuels was to improve the environmental situation - not to exacerbate environmental problems. But many are worried that an unintended consequence of exactly this sort may overtake the original good intentions. So the British government has decided it will slow the introduction of biofuels for fear that switching land use could in fact exacerbate climate change.
