The Big Apple Turns Green

The big apple wants to become the big green apple - or at least its making a serious effort to change its hazy smog color to a noticeable shade of green. New York City will spend $2.3 billion to cut its greenhouse gases - those coming from municipal buildings and operations - by 30 percent before 2017. No small feat.
