Spain Might Lower Speed Limit To Reduce Consumption

Spain has launched a plan to reduce energy consumption and save money on oil imports by cutting the speed limit to 50mph and handing out millions of low-energy use light bulbs - just two of a broad swathe of measures between now and 2014 that aim at reducing the country's oil imports by 10% and cutting consumption by 44m barrels, initiatives which could save around $4b.
