Arctic Holds Nearly 100 Billion Barrels of Undiscovered Oil


The US Geological Survey has reported that the Arctic may hold as much as 90 billion barrels of undiscovered oil as well as natural gas stores equivalent 30% of the world's undiscovered gas, an announcement that will certainly add impetus to the race among the US, Russia and other polar nations for control of the region.
